Upfront Septic completed a septic pump replacement at a property in Graham, WA, after the existing effluent pump failed. The goal of the service was to restore reliable wastewater pumping and ensure the system's floats and discharge piping were operating properly.
Our technicians removed the failed pump and supplied and installed a new septic effluent pump. The existing float system was also replaced with new pump on/off, high-level alarm, and redundant safety floats. These components help regulate pump operation, alert the homeowner to elevated wastewater levels, and provide an additional layer of protection.
The team also replaced and reworked the discharge piping using new piping components and fittings. All connections were secured, and the piping was adjusted for proper alignment and wastewater flow.
After installation, our technicians tested the system to verify pump function, float operation, and discharge performance. The pump achieved a drawdown rate of 3 inches per minute, equivalent to approximately 60 gallons per minute. The system was configured for a one-minute pumping cycle followed by a three-hour interval between cycles, delivering approximately 60 gallons per dose and an estimated 480 gallons per day.
With the new pump, float system, and discharge piping installed and tested, the service addressed the failed equipment and helped restore proper operation of the property's septic pumping system.
