Get emergency response for septic tank blockages, overflows, pumping and plumbing
A routine Bremerton pump-out on a system with risers over both tanks. Approximately 1,000 gallons removed, the inlet and outlet baffles inspected and sound, and no signs of deterioration in the accessible tank walls or floors.
A Redmond homeowner with recurring backups, gurgling fixtures and sewage odors. The two-compartment tank was flooded, the outlet baffle filter was clogged, and the outlet baffle transport line has settled severely, which is what keeps flooding the tank. Both tanks pumped and the filter cleaned; the transport line still needs addressing.
A flooded Auburn system with effluent surfacing from both the primary and the reserve drainfield. The alarm panel showed the timer dosing for 12 minutes every hour, which was reset to the as-built settings, and 3,500 gallons were pumped across the trash tank, septic tank and pump tank.
One 12-inch and two 24-inch risers fitted to give proper access to the tank. The old concrete around the pump tank riser was cut out, the area cleaned and resealed, and every inside rim sealed with hydraulic cement to keep groundwater and roots out.
A Spanaway inspection that turned up gaps where the risers meet the tank, at the inlet connection and around the others, with root intrusion at both compartments. The tank did not need pumping, and a toilet flushed before we left came through strongly. Resealing all the risers is the recommendation.
A Puyallup homeowner called us out to pump a 600-gallon two-compartment wooden tank. The contents were extremely thick, but the more important finding was the tank itself: the floors of both compartments had largely gone, with soil visible where they should be.
