The follow-up work on a North Bend property, carrying out what the sale inspection recommended. Risers over all three tank access ports, the mainline connection resealed with hydraulic cement, and a leveler added to a lateral line to even out flow across the drainfield.
A point-of-sale inspection in North Bend where the main lid sat under a deck and boards had to come up to reach the rest. The lids were not airtight, there is a gap where the mainline meets the tank, and one of the three lateral lines took no flow during the stress test.
An emergency call in Lakebay after days of backing up. A 1950s house with no as-built drawing, a first compartment completely full, about 600 gallons pumped, a gap along the bottom of the divider wall, and a soft patch in the yard that smells and grows nothing.
A Lakebay inspection prompted by gurgling and slow drains with several appliances running. The inlet obstruction cleared with flushing, but the outlet baffle has a large hole at the transport line, cracks are starting in the tank floor, and a hose stress test backed up straight away.
A Gig Harbor service where the tank itself was sound but the pump tank was not. About 1,400 gallons pumped and the filter cleaned, a gap with roots where the mainline enters the tank, and floats wired so that the pump ran but the high-level alarm stayed silent.
