Upfront Septic provided grease trap cleaning services for a cafe in Seattle, WA. Upon arrival, our technician accessed the cafe's indoor grease trap and pumped out the accumulated grease and waste to help restore the trap's capacity and maintain proper operation.

During the service, we removed and thoroughly cleaned the inlet baffle. The second baffle, located where liquid exits the grease trap and continues through the plumbing system, could not be removed. This limited access to that portion of the trap during the cleaning.

Our technician also identified a clog in the plumbing connected to the grease trap. The obstruction may be contributing to drainage issues and should be addressed to help ensure wastewater can properly flow through the system.

The grease trap was pumped and the accessible components were cleaned, while the inspection also identified a plumbing clog and a second baffle that could not be removed. Upfront Septic recommends addressing the blockage and evaluating the outlet-side baffle as needed to help keep the cafe's grease trap and connected plumbing operating properly.
