We received an emergency call about flooding in the elevator shafts at this Seattle health clinic that needed immediate attention. Our crew came in through the main entrance and ran approximately six hoses, spanning more than 200 feet, to reach the work area.
We started with the first elevator pit, pumping it out and cleaning it. A small catch basin in the corner turned out to be full as well, so that was pumped out and cleaned too. From there we worked through the remaining pits, cleaning and pumping each one, along with the basin serving them.
By the end all the accumulated water, sediment and debris had been removed from the elevator pits and catch basins, and the work areas were left clean.
