Project Spotlight: Woodinville Septic Service

Upfront Septic was called to a Woodinville property for septic tank pumping. Upon arrival, our technicians found that the 1,250-gallon, two-compartment septic tank was slightly flooded. The condition appeared to be related to a settled conveyance line, which was also preventing the outlet filter from being removed.

After pumping the tank, liquid and debris remained visible inside, and the mainline also appeared to be settled. These conditions may affect how wastewater moves through the system and should be evaluated further.

During the service, our technicians also addressed the tank lids. The first-compartment and pump-tank lids were missing gaskets, so we replaced the screws on the first-compartment lid and added screws to the pump-tank lid. This visit involved more than routine pumping, allowing our team to identify and address additional concerns observed at the property.

Woodinville Septic Tank Pumping

A Woodinville homeowner had dug out their own buried lids before we arrived. The two-compartment tank was flooded behind an outlet baffle filter that was restricting the flow of effluent; the tank and pump tank were both pumped, with the shallow risers, their loose lids and a lush damp patch over the drainfield noted to watch.

Burien Septic Service

A high-level alert at a Burien home turned out to be a pump timer set well outside the system's as-built specification, flooding the pump tank. We corrected the timer, pumped both tanks, tested the pump, and found root intrusion around the risers.
