Project Spotlight: Gig Harbor Emergency Septic Services

Upfront Septic responded to an emergency septic service call in Gig Harbor, WA, after a homeowner reported that an electrical junction box had fallen into the septic pump tank. The customer needed professional assistance to pump the tank and retrieve the equipment safely.

Upon arrival, our technicians found that the pump tank was flooded. Before pumping, the team briefly turned on the pump for a few minutes. Smoke was observed coming from the tank when pumping began, and shortly afterward, sparks occurred inside the junction box. Our technicians pumped approximately 1,200 gallons from the tank to remove the accumulated wastewater and gain access to the equipment.

Once the tank had been pumped, our team removed the junction box lid from the bottom of the tank. Because smoke and electrical sparking were observed during the service, the electrical components and pump system should be evaluated by a qualified professional before further operation. This emergency visit addressed the immediate need to pump the flooded tank and access the dropped equipment.

Gig Harbor Septic Service

A second opinion on a Gig Harbor system after another company's inspection. Root intrusion was found at the ATU riser, the pump tank conveyance line and the junction box, the UV light was disconnected with a broken casing, and the drain field showed no signs of trouble. Pumping was recommended after about three years.

Redmond Emergency Septic Services

A Redmond homeowner with recurring backups, gurgling fixtures and sewage odors. The two-compartment tank was flooded, the outlet baffle filter was clogged, and the outlet baffle transport line has settled severely, which is what keeps flooding the tank. Both tanks pumped and the filter cleaned; the transport line still needs addressing.

Gig Harbor Septic Pumping and Inspection

A Gig Harbor homeowner trying us after being let down by their previous company. Routine pumping plus an O&M inspection: approximately 500 gallons from the trash tank, a gap found where the mainline enters it, and a two-amp fuse that blew again as soon as it was replaced — an electrical fault still to be traced.
