Upfront Septic was called to a Gig Harbor, WA property for septic tank pumping. Upon arrival, our technicians pumped out both the septic tank and pump tank to remove the accumulated contents and help restore the system to proper operating condition.
During the service, the pump tank lid was also replaced. While inspecting the system, our technicians found that the riser on the first compartment consists of two pieces, with the riser adapter between them not sealed tightly. A loose seal at this connection can allow water and debris to enter the system and may require additional attention.
Further work is planned to repair the riser adapter seal or replace the riser as needed. This follow-up will help ensure the access point is properly sealed and secure.
