Upfront Septic provided septic tank pumping and pump system troubleshooting for a residential property in Renton, WA. The customer contacted Upfront Septic after another company had inspected the system and advised that the septic pump was no longer functioning.
Upon arrival, our technician found that the high-level alarm was activated and the system was in a flooded state. The two-compartment septic tank was located in the backyard and was equipped with risers, providing access for inspection and service.
The inlet and outlet baffles were inspected and both appeared to be in good condition. Our technician then crust busted and pumped approximately 1,000 gallons from the septic tank and an additional 300 gallons from the pump tank, removing approximately 1,300 gallons total from the system.
Pumping the tanks helped reduce the flooded condition and provided an opportunity to further evaluate the system. The service addressed the immediate tank capacity issue while troubleshooting the conditions associated with the high-level alarm and reported pump failure.
